Welcome to Sharmina Skincare, founded by two sisters from Persia and inspired by the beauty rituals we grew up with.

Our journey brought us from a warmer climate to life in Europe, where we became interested in how skin responds to colder climates and changing environments. Sharmina brings together our Persian heritage with modern skincare focused on hydration, nourishment and skin barrier support.

Growing up in Persia, we were surrounded by traditions of beauty and self-care. Our grandmother’s kitchen was filled with the scents of rose petals, saffron and chamomile, ingredients that formed part of the beauty and wellness traditions around us. These experiences inspired our appreciation of botanicals, ritual and thoughtful self-care.

Inspired by the natural rhythms of Persia’s climate, our skincare philosophy understands how changing weather affects skin balance. Ancient Persian rituals built around deep hydration, rosewater, and nourishing oils are perfectly suited to modern life — especially for anyone facing seasonal changes or cooler northern weather. By reimagining these timeless beauty secrets for today’s world, we’ve created skincare that restores balance and radiance year-round, wherever you live.

Founded by two Persian sisters — one with a PhD and one with a Master’s degree — Sharmina combines heritage, skincare and a research-informed approach to understanding how our environment can affect skin and everyday wellbeing.

Sharmina Wellness is based at Trinity Innovation Hub in Dublin, where we are developing the next stage of our journey — exploring research, environmental insights and digital tools that could support more personalised approaches to climate adaptation and wellness.
